i think its BS that they made lux/kurz pve titles now as they dnt count as pvp titles, yet they make zaishen pvp.

If you want max reward then you should have played almost every aspect of the game. And being named "Guild Wars" be happy they didn't add a requirement for Champion r3 xD.

I'm rather amazed that the Kurz and Luxon titles don't count for PvP, since most people get their faction through JQ/FA/AB.

If anything, the Zaishen title is more of a PvE title, since most people buy their keys.

G3 is easy to get.

If you guys spent less time bitchin' at anything and everything then maybe you could get some Glad/Hero points.

This seems to be heading in the same direction as countless other threads. OMG IM NEW TO PVP AND NO ONE TAKES ME IN THEIR TEAMS... ITS NOT LIKE RANK MAKES U ANY BETTER OF A PLAYER!.... ok, whether that sentence is true or not, that is not the point of this thread...

My view on the original question is I believe they should keep the PvP req. A) makes PvP more active again, and B) If you want to 'MAX' your hall of monuments you should not be a one trick pony, infact, I applaud the fact you have to be adept in PvE and to a significantly smaller amount PvP.

Zaishen title: Who cares... markets booming and loads of people to sell my keys to. And on top of that @ 200 keys thats 1000k at current prices.... thats a big ask for lots of people... Unless people lrn how to farm GvG quest days... but thats unlikely!

Kurcick and Luxon: I maxed my kurcick without doing a single AB or CM... its not a PvP title, and hasnt been since like a week after factions was released... If anyone can HONESTLY say they have maxed it soley through PvP and show me proof, I will retract this statement, till then, it stands true.

If your not rich and not ranked what does that leave you....

Random arenas does not require you to be r999121232193+ so there is not significant elitism. Yes good players will rage if u look bad... common practise, but meh, dont look bad? Also there are syncers.... but srsly you face them what once/50 matches? Not a huge deal...
The biggest problem unranked players find with RA is that you kinda have to be half decent to win points... so all the peoplee early in this thread saying i spend 2 months solidly in RA and got 70 points............. maybe that was not random arenas fault, maybe you need to improve a bit? This isnt UW with patrol routes and aggro patterns, it requires you to possess different skills (not skills, but player Skillz) to PvE.

In summary:
/notsigned and advice to anyone short of this title, if your rich, im selling keys at 5.5k ea, and if ur poor, time to go read advice on how to be a good pvper and go win at RA.
Then, when you demonstrate that, u qualify to be a CHAMPION OF THE GODS!!!!! lol

the reason there is "respect" in the high levels is cause theres no one left in the low levels because they have been driven off by the majority of the abusive players... a lot of who are the ones sitting in the upper echelons now... they claim to have "worked" for it... maybe.. if you consider verbally abusing and harrassing people nuts until they quit "work".

Your just taking one aspect of the game wich is grinding. And yes thats were all PvE bitches are. But PvE can be played for days without grinding and thus finding such people. RA You can't. HA you can't. Codex (well oki but only because there is noone there) And that pretty much sums up PvP.

No, boy, Ursan wasn't used just in grinding. It was used even for the easiest crap. Could you do DoA if you didn't want to go Ursan? Aww, you couldn't, so the game couldn't be played normally then.

While AB is in fact PvP, Lux/Kurz title is the only 'PvP' title you can gain and max without having to step foot in an AB or CM. For Glad you have had to either gone to RA or TA. For Champ you have to GvG. For Hero you have to HA. Whether these titles can be cheated/bought or w/e is irrelevent because the fact remains that you can't PvE to get those titles. I bet the majority of people that maxed these titles did it by either the old FFF or DT/MQ sc and not AB/JQ/FA. So with that being a fact why should you be given a PvP title for doing PvE?

Ursan is a skill that was overpowerd and was dealt with quick. So were many PvP skills.

Actually the list of pve skills that were being bitched and whined for a nerf is quite short. Just for the info i was never for sf change.

Here are some of the skills in pvp that were change through power of your bitching and whining :
Primal Rage, Overload, Mark of Insecurity, BB, smiters boon (you really nailed it here), Palm Strike, Warriors Endurance, VoR, Magebane, Blinding Surge, Mark of Reaper etc etc. And thats only few skills mentioned.

Uhh...all these examples apply pretty much equally to PvP.

R10 Norn is used as a requirement because it acts as the attribute for PvE skills. If someone wanted to join a PvP team but only had 170 attribute points would you let them in?

PvP requires the correct build even more than PvE, im pretty sure that if a team was asking for a Shock Warrior for HA and someone playing a 100b warrior joined and refused to change they'd be kicked in exactly the same way someone not playing Perma SF would be in a SC party.

Oh, and plenty of PvPers call other players bad because they don't have XXX title, even moreso than in PvE. I've literally never seen anyone be called bad on the basis of their armour or title in all my PvE play.

Be thankful that it's one title, it counts for a mere 3 points. Just do the zaishen title and it costs you about the same as all your drunkard/sweet tooth shiz so i really don't see whats to complain about.

This HoM calculator wasn't supposed to magically give you 50/50.

There's barely any complaints from the PvP community having to PvE, except that one moronic thread where everyone disagrees with the OP.
